I am honoured to extend my heartiest congratulations to pen a few words for Celebrating ARCHIDEX 2023. As the guest of honour for the preview held in March this year, I was already impressed by the achievements of a proudly made in Malaysia exhibition of this scale.

The Ministry of Local Government Development is pleased to support ARCHIDEX as an initiative that benefits the economy and the industry. Malaysia is undergoing digital transformation in various areas, and we are answering the call for sufficient housing that will address sustainability and wellbeing.

ARCHIDEX has successfully united the industry for the architecture, interior design, and building professionals. More than that, the exhibition has evolved to become a platform of choice for stakeholders not just in Malaysia but across Asia. It is not an exaggeration to say ARCHIDEX has indirectly promoted Malaysia as a MICE centre.

I am proud to see how much value ARCHIDEX has contributed towards the economy and the industry. Together, C.I.S and PAM have fostered industry growth, encouraged innovation, and inspired countless of industry members in various ways, big and small.

The concurrently held DATUM:KL Conference is one of the biggest conferences in the region making ARCHIDEX and DATUM a collaborative triumph that makes up the Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF) together with the PAM 100 Years Celebration this year. It marks Kuala Lumpur as the preferred MICE centre with global standards.

Knowledge is a key component of ARCHIDEX, as such, I encourage the stakeholders to continue learning and stay on top of the latest news and industry developments from the exhibition.

ARCHIDEX is a nucleus for ideas and creative endeavours and inspirations, as such, I look forward to the emerging technologies, green building initiatives, and smart city concepts that will be featured.
