As the value-added partner to Huawei and RExharge, KVC is striking strategic partnerships to push Renewable Energy technology envelopes to build a green ecosystem in Malaysia.

Its key focus in Huawei Digital Power is to make power generation and utilisation more innovative and efficient. KVC has launched its “1+4+X’ solution to integrate EV Charging into its Huawei FusionSolar Residential solution, providing an end-to-end holistic ecosystem to users.

With the power of digitalisation and AI, it can control the EV Charger to prioritise charging from Solar Power, enabling green energy usage and lowering the cost needed to charge EVs.

Besides, the green energy production and charging power usage can all be viewed from a single monitoring system, providing better visibility to users to understand their assets. All in all, KVC, Huawei, and RExharge strive to provide a painless and seamless user experience to users.

Flying High, Flying Far

“We are here to exhibit our AirAsia Drone,” explains Captain Lou Chiu Chern, Capital A Berhad flight operations representative.

“We are a pilot training organisation providing CAM-approved training where we certify drone pilots to fly safely in Malaysia.

“I feel optimistic about ARCHIDEX, and we are looking to introduce vertiports to be built and new products into the market, such as our air taxi and drone delivery services.

“A key feature of our drones is our agriculture drone, which offers more efficient spraying of fertilisers, which reduces manpower needs and, at the same time, increases efficiency.

“For cities, drone delivery services allow us autonomous delivery of products. For example, for ecommerce sites, there is no need to hire drivers as drones can deliver parcels directly to your doorstep!

“We need to work together as an industry to elevate everyone together. For ideas like these to flourish, we need to work with the architecture and construction industries to discuss allocating spaces for us to build vertiports. For example, Vertiports can be made on rooftops such as a supermarket, which also helps drive traffic to the site. The critical thing is to have a forum to bring industry players to build this together.

“Drones are 90% powered by electricity, so it is sustainable. We also aim to mass-produce our drones to reduce costs. And once we start operations, it also helps reduce traffic from our congested roads.”
