Last Day For The Largest Industry Gathering At ARCHIDEX!

For the past three days, the Kuala Lumpur Convention halls have been abuzz with thousands of architects, interior designers, and building professionals at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Exhibitors’ and delegates’ strong presence marks a jubilant industry revival after a two-year hiatus.

“After two years without both events, I believe the architectural community relishes the ability to assemble again for DATUM: KL and ARCHIDEX,” says PAM President Ar. Sarly Adre Sarkum.

“These events have become a design and technical highlight and a social reunion of the profession and the industry. I hope that this feeling of togetherness will spur many opportunities for the future.”

“Just being here is a powerful testament to our determination to rebuild better tomorrow together. The opening ceremony to ARCHIDEX is a big step for each of us to bring our beloved industry into the future with focus, strength, and determination,” says Dato’ Vincent Lim, President of C.I.S.

Here’s what some of the ARCHIDEX exhibitors and trade visitors have to say:

It is an opportunity for me to see new materials, cutting-edge technology, solutions, and sustainable and new eco-friendly products

ARCHIDEX is an excellent opportunity to meet face-to-face with the largest community of building-related professionals and trade visitors and reconnect. ARCHIDEX is a “must attend” trade exhibition for me because it is an opportunity to explore, source, and learn.

It is also a great platform to connect worldwide with building industry professionals. As such, it feels excellent to physically attend the conference, forums, talks, and new product launching and widen my networking. Finally, it is an opportunity for me to see new materials, cutting-edge technology, solutions, and sustainable and new eco-friendly products.

We hope it will continue to gain momentum and that the same is reflected soon in the built industry, to build the nation together eventually

After two years of being away from the physical DATUM and ARCHIDEX, this is a reunion for architects and designers in Malaysia. It is a good sign that people are getting more confident about returning to physical events to interact and do business together. We hope it will continue to gain momentum and that the same is reflected soon in the built industry, to build the nation together eventually.

We have to constantly work together to handle more significant projects or engagements through collaborations. ARCHIDEX has provided the platform where the built professionals can meet and exchange ideas and explore new materials and technologies available in the market. This is how the industry can continue to grow bigger and better.

This is a good sign of rebuilding for the industry, and we hope to have foreign trade visitors back again next year

Our participation over the past 10 years shows that we believe in ARCHIDEX’s effectiveness in reaching out to our targeted markets. This year is especially memorable, as everyone looks forward to attending a physical event again. This is a good sign of rebuilding for the industry, and we hope to have foreign trade visitors back again next year. It is a bonus to win the award and fortifies our branding.

It’s also great to see that ARCHIDEX this year makes sustainability a focal point of the event

It’s great to be back in the industry! Covid-19 has given us an opportunity to reboot our business model, and we’re excited to introduce our new Circular Economy initiative. We’re looking forward to promoting our Sandor sustainable door products under this initiative. It’s also great to see that ARCHIDEX this year makes sustainability a focal point of the event.

Managing Director, Sandor (Jurusanwa Enterprise Sdn Bhd)

It is pleasing to see many participants, new technologies, and new building materials addressing issues like sustainability and climate change

It is a fantastic moment for us architects and the public to return to the ARCHIDEX physical event again. We are starving for something like this. It is pleasing to see many participants, new technologies, and new building materials addressing issues like sustainability and climate change.

We would like to see a lot more incentives and promotions by the government to roll out more projects so the country can recover. Meanwhile, the active participation of all stakeholders in the built industry will be an excellent push for economic recovery.

Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Ar Haji Esa bin Haji Mohamed

Executive Chairman, Tunas Selatan

A platform like ARCHIDEX brings practitioners closer together to collaborate effectively

Architecture is not just about practicing but also contributing to society and the institute. This is my advice to practitioners, especially our young talents. That’s what I’ve been doing with PAM and, simultaneously, getting the opportunities to work with regional counterparts. A platform like ARCHIDEX brings practitioners closer together to collaborate effectively. I am honored that the Association of Siamese Architects, which joins us at the event this year, for choosing me as the honorary member of ASA.

Such networking opportunities are a great push for us to come back stronger and become better

It is excellent that ARCHIDEX is back on the ground again, the reception is fantastic, and it is exciting to see everyone again. The past few years have been challenging due to the pandemic. This opportunity to come together is wonderful because we meet again, rebuild ties, explore opportunities, and more. Such networking opportunities are a great push for us to come back stronger and become better.
