Redefining Modern Living

TAIWAN EXCELLENCE

Stand No: 1K160

Taiwan Excellence makes its impressive mark at ARCHIDEX 2022 with a pavilion featuring 10 top Taiwanese brands named Modern Living Redefined.

The pavilion is a hive of activities all day long, with many trade visitors eagerly inquiring about business opportunities. Located at Hall 1, 1K160, the pavilion is designed to highlight multiple perspectives to create a lively and interactive atmosphere that delights visitors.

The showcase spotlights kitchen and sanitaryware alongside environmentally friendly building materials and equipment designed for urban lifestyles today and tomorrow.

The featured products, ranging from ventilation fans, non-contact activation devices, energy and environmentally friendly devices, safety devices, and other value-added products, attracted curious visitors.

Taiwan Excellence is the trusted symbol, representing the best products out of Taiwan. Every product that earned the mark had to undergo a stringent selection process that considers various parameters, including branding, research, development, design, built quality, sales, and marketing.

“ARCHIDEX is one of Southeast Asia’s most prominent exhibition platforms, and Taiwan has been participating since 2018. ARCHIDEX enables Taiwan to make effective inroads into the Southeast Asia market, which we think has excellent potential,” says Taiwan Excellence representative Tee Soo Suang.

“We are encouraged by the attendance today, even though we were rather anxious before this due to a two-year hiatus. Visitors get to experience what we mean by Modern Living Redefined through these brands featuring smart and innovative products without the need for a major revamp to improve urban lifestyle in a significant manner,” she added.

James Chang, Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia, notes: “Taiwan is a global leader in water hardware with annual output value over NT$50 billion (RM7.5 billion).

“The Dingfanpo area in Changhua is home to one of the leading supply chains in Taiwan. As a result, the industry has been actively upgrading its capability through intelligent manufacturing to increase efficiency and improve product lines.

“Many tasteful designs, coupled with high-quality and innovative features, make Taiwan’s products very popular in the EU and American markets.

The showcase is co-organised by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), and the Plumbing Association of Taiwan.

Two online product launches are scheduled for the 30th of June at 2pm, and the 1st of July at 11 am. These two online events will touch on the product features and market experience, and attendees include architects, designers, building material wholesalers, tools retailers, office equipment suppliers, and other industry players.

Taiwan Excellence is also working with Malaysia’s local environmental protection group EcoKnights to revamp an Orang Asli school in Bukit Tadom. The project involved:

  • Applying HUA TSAI’s i-WaterProof liquid type additives
  • Installing YZTEK’s e+AutOff kitchen safety device
  • JYE LI AN’s sensor flush kits
  • JUSTIME’s three-stage hand shower

“An invention is only good when used for the betterment of humanity, and seeing them in use for the Orang Asli is heartening,” said Johnson Chen, General Manager at Hua Tsai Paints.
