ARCHIDEX 2023 is expected to cross the RM1 billion threshold in sales transaction according to Minister of Local Government Development, Nga Kor Ming, who officiated the 22nd edition of the International Architecture, Interior Design and Building exhibition. 

“Last year, we achieved a total sales translation of RM700 million. Therefore, this year, let us create history by going from RM700 million to RM1 billion in sales transacted,” he said in his opening speech.

Nga sees the event holds a pivotal role in making Malaysia the centre of excellence and innovation. This year ARCHIDEX is hosting more than 1,400 booths with exhibitors from 15 countries and the participation of 20,000 industry traders of architects, interior designers, quantity surveyors and developers. 

The opening ceremony was officiated by the minister in the presence of Persatuan Akitek Malaysia’s (PAM) President, Ar. Abu Zarim Abu Bakar, and KLAF 2023 Director, Ar. Norzaini bin Mufti and C.I.S President, Dato’ Vincent Lim.
