South East Asia’s most successful annual industry trade event for the architecture, interior design and building fraternity – ARCHIDEX (International Architecture, Interior Design and Building Exhibition) has continually been reaping phenomenal success and garnering steady growth through strategic planning and partnerships since its introduction in 2000.
ARCHIDEX has helped promote and create further awareness of our brands. It is a good platform for us to showcase our products especially the new ones to end users as well as architects and designers. We partner Hansgrohe where AXOR is a design-led higher end range. We are delighted that our stunning, innovative new Nendo Lampshower by Japanese designer Oki Sato has been selected as a finalist for the New Product Award!
ARCHIDEX is an excellent platform for us to showcase and introduce our products to a wider market. Exhibitors and trade visitors look no further than ARCHIDEX for all things related to the architecture, design and building industry, as it draws a large number of targeted trade visitors. This exhibition has become so popular that it is difficult to get additional booths and parking space! We started off with two booths but over the years we have extended our space to cover four booths spread across 36sqm.
I really enjoyed the KLDF especially the lecture by Lyndon Neri, as his work is at the heart of what this year’s ACA16 theme of Rejuvenation is all about. I was really inspired to see how he’d interpreted and turned the old Waterhouse in Shanghai around. I really hope to see more of such works here in Malaysia. There are already architects who are doing exemplary works like (past PAM president) Dr Tan Loke Mun’s project in converting an old shophouse in Subang Jaya, Selangor, and the team at WHBC, which does really meaningful projects.
This entire event is a great opportunity for us to see a wide range of products catering specifically to the architecture and building industry. We are especially impressed with the many lines of cement products. This is my second visit to KL and I really love the modern infrastructure and facilties here. And of course, the food is simply fabulous!
