EK Ecoline’s latest hi-tech roofing system called ASA Roma Rooftop was launched by Ir. TS. Dr. Zarabizan bin Zakaria, at ARCHIDEX 2023.

Dr.Zarabizan, Deputy Director General from the Consultative and Technical Referral Division, Implementation Coordination Unit from the Prime Minister’s Department was there to officiate the launch. It is an important testament of the government’s interest in eco-friendly, cost-effective and light-weight materials needed to propel the built environment. This roofing system will be used to develop 350 government-backed low-cost homes in every state, nationwide under the U Kasih programme, which will commence in Terengganu soon.

“ARCHIDEX is a good platform for the industry and government to get to know about the new materials and products in the market and the latest technology used in the construction industry,” he observed.

EK Ecoline’s Managing Director, Xavie Liu thanked Dr. Zarabizan for his support and ARCHIDEX for providing the platform for the launch. He said ASA Roma Roooftop is the ideal material to construct cost-effective homes, without compromising on durability. The material is 100% recyclable; therefore, it can be reused at the end-of-life, contributing to circularity.
