To honour the magnificence of the Merdeka 118 tower, the second tallest tower in the world, Stone Empire Marketing Sdn Bhd has collaborated with MAPEI to erect a replica, symbolically fashioned from waste material from the tower’s construction.

This scaled down replica stands proudly at ARCHIDEX 2024.

“We bring our knowledge and expertise of the material and its installation process, whereas MAPEI will provide the strength of their adhesive and the technological R&D to make sure that these large natural stones can be installed on the floors and walls of Merdeka 118,” said Stone Empire Marketing Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Chan Chin Keong.

Post-expo, the replica will be presented to the Minister of Local Government and Development, YB Tuan Nga Kor Ming. It will represent the resilience and tenacity displayed by the local housing and development industry and its journey towards a sustainable future.
