ARCHITALENT 2024 Crowns New Champion at ARCHIDEX

The 6th edition of the ARCHITALENT Architecture Student Design Competition, organised by Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM), reached its exciting conclusion at ARCHIDEX 2024. This year’s theme, “The Nexus,” challenged participants to envision an environment that seamlessly integrates physical and digital spaces.

UiTM Sarawak student Constantine Claudius Embagos emerged victorious, claiming the coveted title of ARCHITALENT 2024 Champion. Embagos’s win included a cash prize of US$1,000 along with an award certificate and medal.

“The project I submitted is very close to my heart. I believed it perfectly aligned with the competition theme, and I’m thrilled to bring this achievement to my parents and campus,” said Embagos.

Chief Judge and PAM President, Adrianta Aziz believes the competition is the best platform for students to showcase their talent to other stakeholders

“The competition offers a unique opportunity for students to showcase their design vision and creative philosophy through a compelling 5-minute pitch session,” Aziz explained.

“While challenging, this format allows us to celebrate the talent and potential of future generations of Malaysian architects.”

Joining Embagos in the spotlight were Taylors University’s Eunice Lim Min Yee and University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka’s Liyanaralage Premesh Balapitiya, who secured the first and second runner-up positions, respectively.
