The Austrian Pavilion at ARCHIDEX has expanded its presence to feature 7 companies with groundbreaking technology, particularly in the BIM sphere.

Boasting brands that bring top quality and affordable price, Austrian companies are well established in the industry and known for their innovation. Of particular focus this year is the BIM technology, bringing digitalisation to the construction industry and a more affordable solution for everyone to use.

 “We have 7 companies at our pavilion in ARCHIDEX this year, comprising experts in disciplines spanning from IT, BIM to lighting – all complementary to the building, construction, interior and built industry. We hope others can see the usefulness of our technology and connect with us to take this further,” said Sandra Yap, Sector Specialist, Mobility, Energy, Construction, Austrian Embassy Commercial Section.

From 3 companies at ARCHIDEX last year, Austria has expanded to build on its presence in the Southeast Asia region and to seek opportunities to encourage collaborations between Austrian companies and Malaysia, as well as the region. 

 “Last year our company PlanRadar had a small presence at ARCHIDEX through their catalogs, but they successfully closed two deals through ARCHIDEX and this year they have a booth at our pavilion. They had their first signed contract in Malaysia through ARCHIDEX and this is a very successful story for us,” said Sandra. 

“This is something we hope to see among other companies as well. BIM is an upcoming technology and we want to help other companies.”
