ARCHIDEX 2024 features 12 magnificent installations promising immersive experiences that demonstrate the future of design and exceptional craftsmanship. These booths are a shining example of talent, craftsmanship and innovation, fostering a collaborative spirit between the exhibitors and designers.

Exhibitors are eager to showcase the unique features of their cutting-edge products and advanced technologies, meanwhile the talented architects and designers, brimming with inspirational ideas that defy convention, are keen to show new ways of doing things.

Solid Horizon, makers of Rumah Comel 3.0 worked closely with interior designer Ryan Ng of RYNC3D Studios, to create a compact layout reminiscent of Rumah Comel’s small footprints.

“He’s a great visualiser. We worked closely and he consulted with us on materials and design so the entire display represents the heart and soul of our new product – the Rumah Comel 3.0,” said James Yeoh, the company’s Managing Director.

He added that the inspiration stemmed from showcasing Rumah Comel 3.0’s new features of a more elderly friendly staircase and a membrane layer to cushion the cement board floor creating softer flooring.

MBond Manufacturer Sdn Bhd wanted to demonstrate the versatility and flexibility of their products – aluminum panels. Collaborating with Chi Design Sdn Bhd, their booth is a spectacular design display with curvatures as its main theme.

“The design has sparked conversations with contractors and architects visiting our booth at ARCHIDEX now that they realise the malleability potential of our product,” said Leo Hew Y L, its General Manager

Chick Est Sdn Bhd brings to ARCHIDEX a space you can’t resist for your next Instagram post. An in-house effort, the idea is to showcase their bespoke furniture in an environment that complements its characteristics.

“We chose a design to appeal to the youth and still complement the wabi-sabi and tropical design elements of our furniture,” said Shin Yi Chan, the company’s director.
