Shaping the Future of Workspaces at ARCHIDEX's World of Works

The modern workplace is transforming into a dynamic environment that promotes well-being, collaboration, and social impact centred around three key elements: Life, Team, and Impact. At ARCHIDEX’s immersive World of Works (WOW) zone, curated with John Jong of Thinkscape, leading brands showcase innovations driving this evolution.
One of the key players, Benithem, a company that prioritises customsation. As Sales Manager Arron Tan explains, their factory in Johor allows for extensive tailoring of furniture.
“Different spaces need different customisations to fit in,” says Tan. “Whether it’s tables or soft seating, everything needs to be customisable to fit into the space.”
Complementing the physical layout, Tachitica addresses the crucial role of natural light in the workplace. Patrick Teo, their Business Development Manager, emphasises the importance of balancing artificial and natural illumination. “By controlling brightness through artificial lighting and allowing some natural sunlight to come into our workspace, it definitely makes us feel a bit better working.” This highlights how thoughtful design can significantly impact employee comfort and productivity.
Merryfair, a principal partner of WOW, underscores the significance of ergonomic seating. Sales Director Jing Ong tells ARCHIDEX Show Daily, “Workplace furniture is a reflection of our lifestyle within the office, especially given the long hours many spend working.”
Integrating technology seamlessly into these designs is the expertise of Hika, a professional audio-visual solutions provider. Raymond Saw, their General Manager points out, “While it’s not always a common practice for ID firms to blend AV systems into their initial designs, Hika steps in to provide solutions, such as strategically planning microphone positioning in an AV room based on client needs.”
For Artmatrix, their return to ARCHIDEX and participation in WOW’s office setup aligns perfectly with their core purpose. Francis Lau, Senior Vice President (Sales), says, “We’re excited to be a part of a combination of brands that serve the futuristic workplace. WOW is definitely the ideal platform to showcase our functional office furniture solutions.”
Finally, EXSTOPOD® offers a curated range of acoustic pods designed for focused work and privacy. These varied-sized pods cater to individual concentration or impromptu discussions, offering segregation in open-plan environments while maintaining a productive and communicative atmosphere.
Together, these brands represent a holistic ecosystem of innovation, where design, sustainability, and technology converge to define the future of work.
